Tourist Guide

There is no single definition of a Tourist Guide. Each Region uses its own definition to identify the professional figure who accompanies individuals or groups of people on visits to monuments, works of art and galleries, museums, archaeological digs, villas, parks, scenic locations of particular attraction, industrial, craft and agricultural complexes, either directly or through an interpreter, to illustrate their historical, artistic, architectural, cultural and folklore, landscape and natural value.

The Lists of tourist professions for 2020-2021, as well as the List of temporary guides updated in August 2021, are published on the website of the Ministry of Culture.
